Rebecca Lord, owner and manager, is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, Certified Osteoarthritis Case Manager, Canine Aquatic Rehabilitation Practitioner, and Veterinary Technician. She has always had a love for animals and has 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. She grew up in Northern Illinois, she went to Fox College where she received a degree as Associate of Applied Science Veterinary Technician. Then pursued her interest in canine rehabilitation at The University of Tennessee where she was awarded her Certificate as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) and Osteoarthritis Case Manager (COAM). Her family keeps her very busy, and she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, swimming, horseback riding and stargazing.
Dr. Therese Simon DVM joined the staff of Canine Physical Rehab and Recreation, Inc in 2024. She has over 30 years of veterinary experience. Originally from the western suburbs, she went to Colorado State University where she received a B.S. in Zoology and her D.V.M. degree. With a strong interest in dog training and behavior, she enjoys spending her free time attending and teaching dog training classes, as well as behavior/training seminars. Her 4-legged “kids” keep her busy as they compete in agility, dock diving, rally obedience, and canine nose work.
Skye Ashbrook, Canine Rehabilitation Technician and Assistant Manager. She has eight years of experience working in the veterinary and grooming business. She joined the staff at Canine Physical Rehab in 2020. She loves all dogs, and her calming demeanor and can-do attitude make our clients and patients comfortable and happy!
